About Dr. Springer
I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Florida and then completed a clinical post-doctoral fellowship at the Anxiety Disorders Center/Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at Hartford Hospital/Institute of Living in Hartford, CT. This is where my passion grew for providing evidence-based treatment such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) as well as treating other anxiety, panic, hoarding, and depressive disorders using CBT. Following my post-doctoral fellowship, I remained on staff as a licensed clinical psychologist until 2018 before opening my private practice in Concord, Massachusetts. I continue to specialize in the treatment of anxiety and OCD. I have co-authored "The Big Book of Exposures: Innovative, Creative, and Effective CBT-Based Exposures for Treating Anxiety-Related Disorders" (New Harbinger Publications), a book for professionals in the field of psychology, as well as several scientific journal articles as well as book chapters in the fields of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and chronic pain. I am deeply committed to helping patients get unstuck from the anxiety cycle that they are in. List of Publications:
