I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Florida. During this time I had various clinical rotations including the Fear and Anxiety Disorder Clinic (FADC) as well as UF's Center for OCD, Anxiety, and Related Disorders. My clinical post-doctoral fellowship was at the Anxiety Disorders Center/Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at Hartford Hospital/Institute of Living in Hartford, CT run by Dr. David Tolin. This is where my passion grew for providing evidence-based treatment, such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) as well as providing individual and group treatment for anxiety, panic, hoarding, and depressive disorders using CBT. Following my post-doctoral fellowship, I remained on staff as a licensed clinical psychologist at the Anxiety Disorders Center/Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy both treating patients and supervising graduate students, interns, and other trainees. I then opened my private practice in Concord, Massachusetts in 2018 and continue to specialize in the treatment of anxiety and OCD in both teens and adults.
I co-authored "The Big Book of Exposures: Innovative, Creative, and Effective CBT-Based Exposures for Treating Anxiety-Related Disorders" (New Harbinger Publications) with Dr. David Tolin and have also authored scientific journal articles as well as book chapters in the fields of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and chronic pain. I am deeply committed to helping patients get unstuck from the anxiety cycle that they are in. List of Publications:
