As a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Concord, Massachusetts (and now throughout the entire state of MA and VT due to the benefits of teletherapy), I provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention Treatment (ERP) for adolescents and adults with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety (panic, agoraphobia, social anxiety, phobias), and depressive disorders. I have 10+ years of clinical experience treating anxiety and related disorders.
Managing OCD, anxiety, and/or depression on top of the demands of work, school, social responsibilities, family responsibilities, or even leisure time is exhausting. It takes so much time and energy to deal with anxiety and takes you away from the things you care about. You deserve to feel better and do more than just try to get through your day.
I am here to help you get back on track and make meaningful change in your life. In treatment, we will work together to help you reach your goals as you build skills, such as eliminating avoidance, reducing reassurance seeking, and breaking the anxiety cycle by engaging in exposures. Exposures are a way to help you systematically face your fears until the things you currently fear are no longer anxiety provoking. Due to anxiety, OCD, or depression, you might let go of things you value, such as friendships, saying yes to a new job, going to school, or even going on a vacation. We will work to identify core values and help you get back to living your life in a value-driven direction.
I strive to create a safe and comfortable environment and work collaboratively with you in a structured and empathic manner using the most up-to-date evidence-based treatments. This is always a team effort between you and me. If you decide that we are a good fit to work together, we will create specific goals for treatment and a timeline for our work together.
